Accident At Work Leads To Successful Claim
Pearson Rowe Solicitors received instructions from Rachel to pursue a claim for damages arising from an accident at her workplace where she slipped on a wet floor in the kitchen area. She was employed as a waitress in a patisserie shop. Her claim was presented to the employer who accepted responsibility for the accident and agreed to pay her compensation.
Rachel's injuries consisted of a laceration to the middle finger where she was left with a fairly minor scar and the finger was left sensitive. The medical evidence indicated that she had nerve damage in the finger and she was left with significant hypersensitivity. The symptoms were considered to be permanent.
We successfully recovered £4,000 in settlement of Rachel's claim for compensation.
