Mediation - Resolving disputes without the Courts
Whatever the nature of your dispute, we always act to find the most effective solution at a reasonable cost to you. This means that we will not always recommend costly litigation, but if it is more effective we will advise you of the availability of Mediation and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR).
When you instruct us, you will have a single point of contact who will remain throughout the duration of your case. We understand the importance to you of being able to get access to your solicitor.
We will provide to you clear advice at every step of the way to meet your objective. Where litigation is the only step we will tell you but we will also consider all other avenues open to you in order to provide a cost-effective settlement to your dispute. You will then be able to take a fully informed view of all your options and identify the best way of accomplishing your objective.
Early action, combined with effective negotiating skills, is the best way to avoid litigation. We are always conscious of the cost of litigation and we will always work to resolve a dispute to your satisfaction in the most efficient way.
However, there are obviously circumstances in which litigation is necessary. We can draw from a wealth of litigation experience within the firm, which has a formidable reputation both locally and overseas. We appear on behalf of clients in The Royal Courts of Justice in London, Birmingham District Registry of the High Court and County Court and when necessary the Court of Appeal. We also represent clients at a number of Tribunals and ADR hearings. You can be confident that we have the necessary expertise to deal with your dispute.
